Creating Confidence

One of the best ways to create confidence is to put down on paper what you have to offer–what makes you unique. To tell your story in a truthful way that discloses yourself in a way that shows you can be trusted.

For myself, the most important things that people need to know about me, to trust me as a coach are that:

  • I have conquered depression. I used to think that for someone to understand the real me, that depression was a big part of my story. Now I know that depression will not be a part of my life anymore because I have learned the source of grace and strength, I have learned to capture my thoughts and let them be transformed, and I know how to discipline myself for healthy sleep, eating, exercising and relational habits.
  • I am a child of God. Being child-like is not being childish. Being vulnerable is a great strength. There is no facade for anyone to knock down. I can see myself and accept myself and receive all the strength that I need from God. Which is so peaceful.
  • I understand, without judging, people. I have lived on 3 continents and understood the basic, underlying connectedness and humanness that we share. So I can analyze and figure out relatively quickly what is going on with a person and what is needed.
