My Relationships
I’m a child of God. Even as a parent, I remind myself that my kids and I are all God’s children. From his viewpoint, we are all equally cherished and cared for. I can depend on him for everything that comes my way. I’m learning to relax into his love, which is hard for me.
I’m a woman, and the wife of a great guy named Ben. Ben is a “third-culture-kid”, meaning he grew up in a country that his family was not a citizen of. This makes him incredibly adaptable, constantly learning. He is curious. Being married to him for the past 16 years has benefited me enormously–helped me to become more flexible, more willing to step out on a limb, more open.
I’m a mom of three kids. It can bring me to tears knowing how much I’m loved by those 3 little rascals. Every day I receive and give snuggles, hugs and kisses, share intimate feelings, fears and delights with three beautiful people. They are Kiara, 10, Leila, 7, and Liam, 4. Each was born on a different continent-North America, Europe and Africa.
I like to have 3 girlfriends at all times. They change as we keep moving around the world. But I know I need them, so I make an effort to open my heart with those I feel I can trust.
My Career
I had a 12-year career in communications management both in Washington, DC and Paris, France for a large multi-national energy corporation headquartered in France. I actually used what I learned in college–I was a communication and French double major.
I left that career when we moved to Kenya five years ago, and pursued a new path in spiritual and life coaching. While gaining my certification through the International Coach Academy, I continued using my French with my francophone African friends, and I continued volunteering in the communications office on the campus where we live.
I really enjoy one-on-one work, so coaching is a perfect fit for me. I love helping people get to the next stage, be it a spiritual awakening, a new way to be open with feelings, opening up to new possibilities, enjoying more freedom and a stronger sense of identity. I’m looking forward to meeting each new client–I’m so interested in your story and watching you become transformed.
